Cumetre is Arabic for Latin pira {"pear"}; Stephanus writes cumetiran.

Wehr (1976): ﻛﻤﺘﺮﻯ /kummaṯrā/ "pear".
Siggel (1950: 64): ﻛﻤﺘﺮﻯ /kummaṯrā/ Fr. v. Pirus communis, Birne {i.e. "pear"}.
Stephanus in his Breviarium writes: apios … pirus … cumetherũ

N.b. Greek ἄπιος /ápios/ means "pear-tree" or "pear".
