Cumetre is Arabic for Latin pira {"pear"}; Stephanus writes cumetiran.

Commentary:

Wehr: ﻛﻤﺘﺮﻯ /kummaṯrā/ "pear". Siggel p. 64: ﻛﻤﺘﺮﻯ /kummaṯrā/ Fr. v. Pirus communis, Birne {i.e. "pear"}.

Stephanus in his Breviarium writes: apios … pirus … cumetherũ [[1]]. N.b. Greek ἄπιος /ápios/ means "pear-tree" or "pear".
